Re: Rise Of Flight release

Thanks Gabi, yes I will fiddle around with them and let you know the results :) The only problem is that the one for stationary engines will effect all non-rotary engines, not just the German ones - so would it be an easy matter to add a third 'C' param just for 'Type 5' (or possibly a new Type 6)? ...

Re: Rise Of Flight release

Thanks Gabi! I have just noticed that my ReLoad Configuration settings have A= and B= still in them, and (if I remember correctly) one of these is for Stationary engines - so I guess I can change the threshold setting for myself :) There is a new superpatch, MFP5, now in beta testing - combines WFP2...

Re: Rise Of Flight release

Thanks for the feedback, Gabi - I don't have RoF yet, still saving up for a PC that will be good enough to run it. With a bit of luck the initial glitches and bugs will be sorted out by then, and there will be the add-on aircraft packs to expand it. The engine-management side of it looks interesting...

Re: Rise of Flight - WW1 flight sim

The aliens have landed..."Take me to your leader" LOL If you want to be our leader, Pickett, or Waldo or anyone else from US95th (Gabi?), and take part in Beta testing I am happy with that :) But they may require "leader's certificate" in triplicate (emailed, posted, and another ...

Re: Over Flanders Field

TrackIR is very good - I found it very easy to get used to, it becomes just like looking around (except when I I am looking over my shoulder in-sim, when I am looking slightly sideways in reality, but this is adjustable to suit individual taste). I no longer use the hat switch for looking around - s...

Re: Rise of Flight - WW1 flight sim

S! Pickett,

As you have to be connected to "their" server, they might even charge for joining the on-line games :(

And then pay for add-ons...

And Updates...

And ?

But maybe that is the only way a new flight sim. can be financially viable these days.

Re: Over Flanders Field

S! Pickett, OFF install goes very well - there have been hardly any problems with install reported. Went very smoothly for me. Updates and fixes are being posted almost daily, and each one entirely updates the previous versions (so no need to worry about cumulative patching, or getting patches in th...

S! Waldo, Pickett, NoMurC,

That makes 4 of us counting me. I will sign us up again :)

Does anyone have Monkey or Willowmaker's email address, and can let them know?

Re: Over Flanders Field

Hello Waldo/Pickett, I have got OFF3 now as well (cost me almost £50 here in England, with tax, a hefty postage, and poor exchange rate), and it is a big improvement on OFF2. The SP campaign is much better than it was (it is reminiscent of RB now, but I think still not quite as good), but the flight...

Flying Coffins 2009

S! All I had this email about Flying Coffins 2009. Anyone interested? I would be. S! FC Team Reps I wanted to thank you all for attending last years’ event. But since we didn’t get as much feedback as I would have liked about our game last year, I am unsure if you and your Squad enjoyed the event en...
