Flying Coffins 2009

Post by bletchley »

S! All

I had this email about Flying Coffins 2009. Anyone interested? I would be.

S! FC Team Reps

I wanted to thank you all for attending last years’ event.

But since we didn’t get as much feedback as I would have liked about our game last year, I am unsure if you and your Squad enjoyed the event enough to want to fly it again. Therefore I am sending this email to you all asking if your Squad would be interested in participating in another Flying Coffins tournament?

I am planning on starting the next FC tournament a couple of weeks after CW ends in April. So if you would please let me know if your Squad would be interested in fly FC again in April and May, it would help me in getting things setup for the next event.

Thanks and I hope to hear from you asap.

S! all, this was posted today over at WOV forum and the RB3d forum:

"S! RB’ers

Signups for the second Flying Coffins tournament are now being accepted at the FC forum site http://jasta30.atfreeforum.com/
The tournament is set to begin on or about April 25th and will run for six weeks.
The games will be played on Saturday afternoons at 1pm EST and 3 pm EST.
You need not sign up individually if your Squad Rep signs up as a group.
Mercs will be accepted and will be assigned to a Squad as needed.

There have been rule changes.
The version number in use for the upcoming tournament is Version #35.
Version #35 can be found here, http://www24.brinkster.com/jasta30/fcmb/fc_rules.htm
The changes are in red type. Mostly wording changes for clarification. But the most significant changes are the separation of penalty points between the Team Force and the two aligned Squads. These changes are mainly for the event Moderator, Scorekeeper and Squad Reps to be concerned with. The tournament format and 25 basic rules for pilots to follow are still the same. They can be found separately listed at the same location as Ver #35 above.

Thx

S! Waldo, Pickett, NoMurC,

That makes 4 of us counting me. I will sign us up again :)

Does anyone have Monkey or Willowmaker's email address, and can let them know?

S! US 95th,

I would be happy to fly with you again in this year's FC turnament, if you'll take me on.
May is normally a busy month for me with many week-end activities so I will probably miss some matches, but I'll fly whenever I can.

Salute all, Looking forward to flying with you on Saturday. I'll read up on the rules and make sure I'm ready. I only have access to the General Forum. I won't have access to plans or sign ups?

Thank you,
Salute
