S! all, for anyone interested, you can download the Windows 7 Release Candidate version software from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/window ... nload.aspx
It is not the final release version of Windows 7, it is a release candidate version.
From the Microsoft site for Windows 7 RC:
"The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010. You’ll also need to install the programs and data that you want to use."
Read more information about it at their web site listed above.

Re: Windows 7 Release Candidate download
Eeewww,
I'd stay away from Windows version that is not yet released.
In fact, when it comes to RB3D, I've managed to stay away from anything released after Win98SE ...
But then I'm lucky enough to have two old rigs with Voodooo 5500 cards that are now dedicated to RB3D. One is used to fly on and the oldest runs my server, it is also my backup if the flying PC should crash and burn.
