Sorry for not responding sooner Zardo/Odee. I did not get the PM until around 8 CST on FB by Oscar.
When you run fraps I use the default settings for movies which is F9 (Screenshots are F10)
benchmarking key is F11, I use that when the little numbers disappears and you kind of forget if you are running the recorder in fraps or not, it will bring the numbers back. If your numbers are yellow then it's off, red is of course activated, and you can hit as many random videos/screenshots as you wish.
When you take your movies in ROF or any other game; the fraps folder is in your C :/ drive by itself (do not go into your programs folders)
Open it and there you will see your screenshots and of course your movie folders already installed in case you did not already know that.
What I use to make my movies is
Windows Live Movie Maker for my movies and screenshots to add to YouTube. This is a free program:
http://explore.live.com/windows-live-mo ... r?os=other
Of course if you use soundtracks you will get an email if you are using copyright material, it’s just standard procedures to cover YouTube’s butt. I have several but no action has ever been done. Many ROF movie makers use them. Of course if people used them for financial benefit they could get in a lot of trouble.
Once it's installed you can simply go to your videos in your fraps folder and pick which one you want to start with. Right click on the video and left click
Open With Windows Live Movie Maker.
You'll see the program open and your first video will open up and there you can edit, split, add music, videos, screenshots, etc.
You have an Animations, Visual Effects, Add music, Project and View tabs at the top.
The Animations let you add screen changes like I have done with mine, just experiment Zardo.
The Visual Effects lets you change how the screen looks if you want day with color, black and white, Sepia, etc.
You can add soundtracks by clicking add music and where you want it. I use MP3, or Wav files. (Never tried anything else yet)
NOTE: You can also split your movies and also your soundtracks and have them fade in and out slow, medium fast or NONE.
You can slow your movies down for cinematic features or speed them up.
Once you add the videos you can add your Title, Caption and Credit to which shots you want to take.
Maybe I'll do a video of the course for you but not tonight, got to rest a bit, just finished "The Death of Oswald Boelcke"
Once your project is finished just save it and publish it to YouTube, you should already have the YouTube, Facebook, etc. plugins added when you download it.
I'll check back tomorrow and see how you are doing sir?
I know if I can do it, anyone can LOL.
